How we collect, use, and protect the information you share with Decant.
Last updated: July 24, 2026
This policy explains what information Decant (“Decant,” “we,” “us”) collects through withdecant.com and our reporting-audit application, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email hello@withdecant.com.
When you apply for the reporting audit, we collect what you enter in the form: your name and role, work email, and details about your agency — active client count, monthly managed media, platforms with active spend, hours spent on reporting, how your team uses AI, your reporting tools, and anything you write in the free-text fields. We also receive whatever you include if you email us directly.
When you submit the application, we record your IP address, browser user-agent, and the referring page, which we use to secure the form and prevent spam. When our advertising is active, our pages load the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag. These set cookies and collect standard device and usage data so we can measure how our ads perform. They do not collect the answers you type into the form.
We use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) and the Google Ads tag (Google LLC) to measure conversions and improve who we reach with our ads. These technologies set cookies and may share limited event data — such as that you visited a page or submitted the application — with those platforms. You can opt out through your browser’s cookie controls, your Meta ad settings, your Google Ads settings, and the industry opt-out pages at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Decant, and only as needed:
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
We keep your application for as long as we need it to evaluate it and, if we work together, to serve you — plus a reasonable period afterward. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to or limit our use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. To exercise any of these, email hello@withdecant.com. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests (evaluating applications, securing the site, and measuring our advertising) and, where required, your consent (for advertising cookies).
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including storing applications in a private, access-controlled store. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We operate in the United States. If you contact us or apply from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States.
Decant is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above.
